A request for a new UK Headquarters Building identified of several London properties. The final selection process identified 55 Baker Street as a suitable building offering 200,000 sq ft of accommodation over seven floors. Upon completion and for the first time in many years staff from several London buildings were consolidated under one roof.
In Southampton the brief was to design a new regional office for around 200 staff, enabling the integration of the existing BDO operation and the recently acquired Numerica organisation. A calm efficient working environment was designed and built to a high quality standard, with staff recreation dining and welfare spaces. Customer facing facilities included the main reception with adjacent conference and training rooms. The Glasgow office followed a similar design approach.
